Joint Staff HQ

The Joint Staff Headquarters (JS HQ) is the principal command center of the Pakistan Armed Forces, established between 1972–77 in Chaklala, Rawalpindi. It was created following the 1971 war to provide unified command, strategic coordination, and clarity between the Army, Navy, and Air Force. JS HQ oversees joint military planning, nuclear command, operations, and inter-service logistics and cooperation.
